Our Point Of View - Tapak Dara

Our Point Of View

May the simple things be amazing on the journey of your life

Every people has their own sight in life. We try to make our-tiny-world where ourself be the main actor. In my grandma’s backyard there are many wild flowers grow – because  sometimes the rain come down. My grandma never disturb this pink’s life, she said “It’s the time where all plants can grow, so let it bloom”. Nothing special about Catharanthus roseus or Tapak Dara (Javanesse Name)  that grow in my grandma’s backyard but I found this very simple sentence when I try to capture them, “Same genus and same species, but every individual should struggle in their own way.” It depends on how we look this view, it talks about our point of view. I love flower, all types of flower.. So, my eyes get wider.

This is the gathered-Tapak Dara. Look pretty, right? Their bright color attract me to take this photo. They look happy, right? They look happy because they can grow well in the same place, maybe they can share joy one and another, but it just in my imagination, hahaha. Now, if you were me, could you see like I see? Could you feel like I feel? Could you make some imagination like mine? May be ‘no’, because you have your own sight of something.

If I look closer like this, this flower will look better, because I can see them more clearly, and thanks to God about His beauty creatures in front of my camera. But, can you see the wilted one? Does the wilted flower make another flowers around it look bad? I don’t think so. This plant should keep the other flowers not look pale and not get withered so they can stay pretty. Don’t stare at this wilted but take a wide look so you can ignore that wilted one, because this Catharanthus roseus has been tried to keep another flower stay cool. Do you agree?

Nah, this is the single one. Single person has his/her own happiness – out of topic. I believe this single one don’t feel lonely all the time. I don’t find pale-flower from this spot. In my imagination – This single Tapak Dara should endure alone, keep its leaves green and its flower fresh, alone. This flower has its way to life according to God.

Same genus and same species, but every individual should struggle in their own way.

Our life is in Our Big Boss' hands that full of hope and His hands are trusted. So, it depends on us how we face every track in our life. How harder we struggle for our war? How many times we down on our knees to ask God to fight before us? Life is not just flow like a river, but we should do more! See more clearly with right point of view, it helps us to see more beautiful flower than the wilted one.

Have I told you lately that I love you?
Have I told you there’s no one else above you?
Fill my heart with gladness, take away all my sadness
Ease my troubles, that’s what you do
